I Look Forward To

Fall (Yes, I know it's October 22, but I live in the swamp and it's still in the high 70s and low 80s here.  No sweaters yet.)

Non-smelly newborn diapers (Even though I know that there will be MANY of them.)

Christmas music (T-8 days until we start playing it around here.)

Running (Don't even get me started.)

The occasional peppermint mocha (The closest 'bucks is 45 minutes away.)

Els' "I'm awake" chatter when nap is over

Hearing his key turn the lock at the end of the day

I think I said "Amen" after every single one. Except, you DO have to explain the significance of the T-8 days...November is key? And the only one I disagreed with and said to myself, Nope..don't look forward to that one...is that "I'm awake" chatter at the end of naps. Because it's always too soon!!! :)

For some reason we always start listening to Christmas music right around Halloween. We love it so much that to wait until after Thanksgiving to start listening to it just is not long enough. So, I was estimating that we'll begin around Nov. 1.

Also, I think I'm in some odd super sentimental time with Eliana because she's about to not be my one and only anymore. I'm sure I'll get back to wanting her naps to be longer here shortly, I am just eating up every second with her right now!
